Bike-fest "Tarasova Gora" takes place every year, at the first summer week-end. This year the festival days are: June 02 - 05 in the city of Cherkassy (located 160 km to the South of Kiev).
In last 8 years the quantity of bikers coming to the festival increased from several dozens to several thousands. Besides our Ukrainian friends, a lot of Bikers-Bros from Russia, Byelorussia, Moldavia, Poland, Germany, England, Croatia, Italy, Armenia and Georgia joined us there. This year we also expect our friends from Switzerland, Kazakhstan and Arabian Emirates to come to this festival.
June 04, 2011 at 12.00 we all, in a duly organized column, will start moving towards the Mountain of Taras (Tarasova Gora) in Kanev city to get to the tomb of the legendary Ukrainian poet - Taras Shevchenko. After we get there and honor his memory with flowers, there will be an opportunity to take a general picture of all festival participants. For you to understand the exclusivity of such a picture - our moto-race was recognized as the biggest one in Ukraine - 170 km long!!! And the length of the column last year was 5 km!!!
Registration fee you pay upon arrival, at the entrance gates. Entrance fee for gentlemen is USD 18 and for ladies - USD 6.The amount of USD 10 is to be paid by 1 person for 1 night stand in the room of the recreation center.
Everyone is expected to come to the recreation center "Pridneprovskaya", on the picturesque hills of the Dnieper river(GoogleMap)
You will have an opportunity to meet famous rock bands and singers from Ukraine and special guest stars.
